Why Yale? The people, starting with our amazing residents. The family feel of the residency program and the culture of support, while also working in a clinical and academic environment that offers fantastic educational and scholarly opportunities. Additionally, that diversity, equity, and inclusion, and anti-racism, are core values of the residency program.
Favorite Apizza: This one hurts, because I have to eat gluten free. However, there is excellent gluten free pizza in the area – a few favorites are Marco Pizzeria in Branford, CT and Da Legna at Nolo in New Haven, CT. Abate and Modern Apizza in New Haven, CT also have good gluten free crusts
How do you stay busy outside the hospital? Any and all activities outdoors in CT, as there is so much to do. Hiking at CT’s state parks or on local trails, exploring Long Island Sound at various beautiful beaches and waterfront parks in the area, kayaking, running, attending Yale fall and spring sporting events (when not in a pandemic). Does driving to various hockey rinks for my son’s practices count as “outside”?
