Welcome From Our Program Director

Thank you so much for your interest in Yale Pediatrics. I love our program immensely, and I am so proud to be its leader. One of the great honors of my job is to showcase what it can offer to prospective residency candidates. Yale Pediatrics is committed to its supportive and positive training culture, where residents can grow and learn in a rigorous but also caring and happy environment. We have a diversity of training sites allowing for ample exposure to the spectrum of pediatrics, from community outpatient care to high-acuity specialized settings, and our graduates are well-primed for both primary care and fellowship training. We have been innovative in our approach to education, allowing residents opportunities to grow as physician leaders beyond the clinical sphere as well. Our enthusiastic faculty serve as wonderful mentors for residents interested in quality improvement, research, medical education, advocacy and global health.​

The core of our program is our exceptional residents, who continue to push me, and each other, to be the best pediatricians we can possibly be. One of the great markers of our success is our residents’ satisfaction with the program. Yale Peds is a very happy place where we grow together, while taking excellent care of kids.
