Why Yale? At my interview day, we ended in the peds library where all the residents hang out, and I found myself feeling like I could stay there all day. It truly is a Yale Peds family and I love my co-residents. The program leadership is made up of outstanding mentors and role models who are also our friends. Co-residents and faculty get to know your interests and actively connect you with others who share the same interests leading to opportunities for research, writing and advocacy. The refugee clinic is a huge draw as well. New Haven has a strong community feel with great culture and history to learn about. This is just a really fun place to be!

How do you stay busy outside the hospital? Happy hours/restaurants with co-residents, walking/hiking around East Rock with my dog and my fiance, local breweries/wineries, exploring the CT coastline nature and beach towns
