Why Yale? The residents seemed really down-to-earth, smart but not competitive, and understanding of the importance of balancing life inside and outside of the hospital. I also loved Yale's unabashed dedication to advocacy, diversity and social justice. The X+Y block scheduling was also a major selling point, as well as the perfect-sized family-vibe of the program.
