Why Yale? The people! I chose Yale because there was a diverse group of residents that were fun to be around, and I lived in New Haven for graduate school and loved it. It also didn’t hurt that Andie Asnes interviewed me.
Favorite Apizza: I had my first date with my partner at Da Legna eight years ago, and though it’s now rebranded itself as Nolo, it will always hold a spot in my heart.
How do you stay busy outside the hospital? I love New Haven and the surrounding shoreline, so I spend a lot of time exploring the parks, farmer’s’ markets, restaurants, and breweries. At home I still manage to cook dinner most nights, sometimes with food I’ve grown in the garden or while wearing one of the many items of clothing I have knit!
