Why Yale? I could tell from my interview day that there is an incredibly strong sense of community in the Yale Pediatrics family. It was evident in not only the interactions between residents but also between residents and program leadership. I am thrilled to be here now and see that what I witnessed over zoom is even better in real life! I was also couples matching with my husband and we felt that Yale residency programs as a whole seemed supportive of couples applying together and have since even helped us coordinate our vacation time!
Favorite Apizza: Sally's!
How do you stay busy outside the hospital? I've been having so much fun exploring New Haven with my husband and co-residents! There are so many places to check out nearby- great restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops, beaches, breweries, farmers markets, etc. It’s been keeping us busy! I’m also a passionate plant and cat mom, so I love spending some free time at home with them.
