Why Yale? I wrote the paragraph below early during my intern year. One year later, it still rings true. The kindness of the Yale community stood out on my interview day and remains my favorite part of being a resident here. The pizza lives up to the hype too. --- There's an authenticity to the residents and faculty that I interacted with that stood out. It was a group of people unafraid to be themselves, and seeing people's personalities shine through left a mark. It was a group that simultaneously did incredible work while not taking themselves too seriously, and that was the vibe and type of program I wanted to be a part of.
